Mecalac introduces MyMecalac Connected Services the telematics solution to optimize profitability

Mecalac, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of compact construction equipment for urban environments, introduces its new connected service to support their clients’ efficiency and profitability, developed in partnership with Trackunit, a key player in the telematics platforms solutions.

Soeren Brogaard CCO Trackunit
“With more than 500.000 machines connected on our rapidly growing cloud-platform, Trackunit is again and again offered the privilege and the opportunity to partner with ambitious construction companies as they embark on their digital journey. We are proud to partner with Mecalac as they invite their customers to join the Trackunit platform and engage in this new and exciting journey.”

Baptiste Ligot, Mecalac Group After Sales Manager
“We have done a comprehensive review of global telematics companies in order to assess who could deliver on all of our quality requirements as well as the complex business needs of our customers, and we have chosen Trackunit as our partner. Both companies have high-quality products and a customer-first approach. This will enable us to lead the industry forward and establish new data-driven connections across the entire value-chain. Machine connectivity is paramount for this digital journey to gain momentum in the industry. Through our unique telematics platform, Mecalac will provide customers with both immediate financial value and the foundation for new innovative services. We are very excited to engage in this long-term partnership”.

Comprised of a web portal mymecalac.com, and a mobile app ‘MyMecalac’, the service solves the most common pain points in the construction industry. It spotlights machines in need of immediate care allowing technicians to stay one-step ahead of potential breakdowns. The web portal is the information and knowledge hub empowering fleet managers, machines owners and drivers, to boost efficiency, safety and machine uptime by giving access to everything from high-level summaries, right down to specific machine details. Through constant, close machine monitoring and smart notifications on maintenance, inspections and damage, the app helps keep the machines up and running at top speed and efficiency.

The MyMecalac solution is available
as a standard on the 12MTX, 15MWR and 15MC Stage 5 excavators, as well as AS1600 and AS210e Stage 5 loaders
as an option on all other stage V machines
